VARDOFORTWO from the Ledge our tree family

Laundry drying in the fresh air, held in place by Tutu, the giant elder fir who granted us permission in the first place.
The top third of Tutu. She is a very grand lady!

Barely visible is a slender young vine maple that is coming into bud. I watch her every morning and see the green shoots expand ever so delicately ... yet persistently. JOTS and I like to do Trail Therapy past this vine maple and down toward the pond below.

In the weeks to come we'd like to introduce and share the creation of our Shared Community with Pellet, Turtle and Jane E. Dog as VARDOFORTWO and Mokihana and Pete learn to live in the woods with gentle and loving acts ... A hui hou. Mokihana

Vardo looks great! Is that a 6 x 12 trailer? What did the final weight end up at? I want to build one but not sure on axle weight. Any advice on construction you would be willing to pass on to future Vardo builders?

Anonymous, Thanks. The vardo is wonderful. We are still adjusting to the changes needed to live inside and outside. We'll get back with answers to your questions soon.
Aloha, Mokihana

Wow.. you're doing it! Bravo for vardos!
I love that sense of finally being off!!
It is so lovely to see others living like us amongst different trees..
Wonder how long you'll stop in each place..
Tui says he wonders if you've read John Steinbeck's 'Travels with Charlie'?
ENJOY the earthy living :)

Aloha Rima, Yes, we are doing vardo among the many many trees. They are all budding and sending pollens a plenty, so I am behind a mask and hooded when in the woods at least for a few weeks. Good question as to how long we'll be in this place ... we will be here for the warmer seasons at least, and let the experience lead us. Tui, we have never read Steinbeck's Travels with Charlie. I think the travels with Pete and Mokihana will be an interesting read.
We are rarely within internet connect, so the log ins will be slim. Take care and we'll follow you when we have time and opportunity!
xxHugs your way across the ocean. Mokihana
